The Sixth Session of Sustainable Development Forum on Water Resources, Melbourne

with Over 500 people including political leaders, community leaders and business elite from Australia

On 6th August, jointly hosted by World Trade United Foundation (“WTUF”) and United Chinese Commerce Association of Australia, and exclusively sponsored by Hong Kong Heaven Springs Dynasty Harvest Group, “The Belt and Road Water Resources and Sustainable Development Forum—Culture & Arts Gala” for celebration of the 45th Anniversary of China- Australia Diplomatic Relations was solemnly held in Melbourne. Over 500 people including political leaders, community leaders and business elite from Australia attended the activity.

Today, the water problem has become a top international topic as well as in the two countries, China and Australia. Rapid development and urban construction process are bringing greater pressure for the ecological system. Unsustainable consumption mode has caused air pollution, water resource shortage and excessive water emissions, which are threatening the health of human and environment.

In his speech, Chairman Dato’ Sri Prof. Ng, Tat-yung, Founder of WTUF and United Chinese Commerce Association of Australia, said that to cope with the major challenges faced by the world in the aspects of climate change, food safety and energy security, the implementation of innovative development strategy has become the fundamental way to transform the economic development mode. Water resources are the “connector” and “motivator” for the driving and achieving of sustainable economic development. It plays an important role in responding to the common challenges of mankind, and achieving sustainable development.

Hon Bruce Atkinson, President of Legislative Council of Victoria, Australia, delivered a speech

Hon. Bruce Atkinson MLC, President of the Legislative Council of Victoria, Australia, said that the State of Victoria takes the lead in the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Australia. China today has ranked World No. 1 in terms of trade and the establishment of diplomatic relations. Australians pay great attention to water, especially when the global water resources are at the stage of nearly scarcity. This time, under the leadership of Chairman Dato’ Sri Prof. Ng, Tat-yung, he knew that the sustainable development on water resources and Atmospheric Water are of great importance for the Australians and even all human-beings.

Robert Clark MP, the Shadow Minister for Industrial Relations, delivered a speech

Robert Clark, the Shadow Minister for Industrial Relations and Member for BoxHill, delivered a speech on behalf of Matthew Guy, leader of Liberals. He said that “The Belt and Road” Initiative has brought lots of memory for China and the whole world. He hoped to, under the guideline of “The Belt and Road”, develop business opportunities for peaceful investment and promote the development in each aspect. He was really excited at the technology brought by China that can realize the sustainable development of water resources.

Hong Lim MP delivered a speech

Hong Lim MP, Chairman of Advisory Board of Chinese Community Council of Australia VIC Chapter, made a statement and said that in recently years the rapid development of China has gradually turned its economy from manufacturing industry in the past to tertiary industry, which has positive impact on the world. Because of China’s economic development, Australia also benefited a lot in its economy, and he really appreciated it. “The Belt and Road” Initiative promoted by China’s state leader will bring large investment in infrastructure of the countries along “The Belt and Road” and hence drive the common prosperity of all these countries. It is an important initiative that can change the future of human beings. The powerful message is that we cannot take the friendly relation and economic and trade cooperation between the two countries for granted, but instead we should make more efforts to promote the common prosperity of the two countries.

Philip Chu JP, Chairman of United Chinese Commerce Association of Australia, delivered a speech

The survey of Ministry of Environmental Protection showed that the annual water resources of the countries and regions along “The Belt and Road” only account for 35.7% of the world, but the annual water exploitation reaches 66.5%. Meanwhile, they use more than 60% of the chemical fertilizer in the world. They’re facing a higher pressure of water resources than the average level of the world. Therefore, the development of water resources in “The Belt and Road” does not only mark our determination to push green “Belt and Road”, but definitely will also bring new opportunities for green and ecologic development, environmental protection and international cooperation in the region.

Stanley Leung, Senior Vice President of Heaven Springs Dynasty Harvest Group, introduced atmospheric water generation

As inventor of “Atmospheric Water As inventor of “Atmospheric Water Generator”, Chairman Dato’ Sri Prof. Ng, Tat-yung and Stanley Leung, Senior Vice President of Heaven Springs Dynasty Harvest Group introduced the series of hi- tech inventions of Heaven Springs Dynasty Harvest Group which aim to solve the problems of sustainable development such as water resource shortage. It has successfully developed the “Atmospheric Water Generator”, the hi-tech and environmental friendly product possessing more than 80 international patents such as “Atmospheric Water Conversion System”. “Atmospheric Water Generator” has been honored by CCTV and CNR as “the 5th Great Invention of China”.

By converting air to safe drinking water, the water quality of “Atmospheric Water Generator” has passed the highest standard of safe drinking water issued by WHO and GE. The products have been included in China’s Catalogue for Recommended Supporting Products of the Defense Military Industry. Lords Speaker Hon. Bruce Atkinson MLC participated in the water quality test on the activity site, and over 500 people witnessed the surprising high quality of“Atmospheric Water” and learned that today we do not only encounter the shortage of water resources, but also have the problem of poor drinking water quality that may cause severe health hazard. The presence of Heaven Springs Dynasty Harvest Group gave a vivid and important lesson to the participants on site.

On the night, Chairman Dato’ Sri Prof. Ng, Tat-yung donated AUD 2,000 to Melbourne Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Shu- Cheen Yu, famous Chinese- Australian soprano, sang The Song of the Yangtze River, and led her student Francesca Li Donni to bring heartfelt singing of famous Chinese song Jasmine Flower; Li Ruge, Yunnan Association and General Chamber of Commerce of Australia, sang happy songs On the Sunshine Road and Good Luck to Come; the singing of Shine Yang, International Goodwill Ambassador, and Dr. Johnny Ip, Chairman of WTUF (Asia-Pacific), as well as abundant lucky draws had pushed the feast to the climax.

Under the multiplex symbiosis cultural concept of “crossing ethnics, crossing religions and crossing national boundaries” advocated by WTUF, the Sino- Australia Culture & Art Feast displayed the beauty of Chinese culture, promoted economic and trade exchange of China and Australia, combined both refined and popular tastes, threaded traditional and modern, and integrated the essence of Chinese and western culture. The feast bought to a successful close in the sound of joy.
