With the continuous development of society, human beings need new and sustainable supply. Technology development has also become an important part of resolving water shortages. Atmospheric water generation could be a new way to create clean water from the air, it can work in any area with a relative humidity of 20% or above. Since the relative humidity at night is usually higher than that at daytime, Atmospheric water could be generated in the world’s driest cities. For example, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates are among the driest countries in the world, with an average annual humidity of 56% to 60%. The annual average humidity in Cape Town, which is the first major city counting down for depletion of water, is 76%. Combined with renewable energy like solar and wind, atmospheric water generation could be low-carbon, non-destructive and extremely effective. It can secure water resources for the industrial economic activities along the Belt and Road, help to transformation of arid regions, cope with water resources challenges, promote the construction of a sustainable water-saving society, and contribute to the community of human destiny.

The Global Sustainable Development Forum on Water Resources hopes to further stimulate the enthusiasm of all sectors of society to participate in philanthropy through this commendation event, improve the social responsibility of various institutions and individuals in the cause of peace, and deepen the public’s understanding and understanding of water resources.
